Retention, Portal, and Mascot Campaign

  • Worked with the creative team to pitch, develop, and write all copy for a multi-channel, high-priority campaign with three objectives: to launch a new student portal, to introduce a new mascot, and to increase retention over a historically under-attended season (the end of the year).

  • Campaign included 30 organic social media posts, 6 paid social ads, 17 emails for multiple segmented audiences, SMS messaging, and direct mail.

  • This campaign ultimately led to 95% adoption of the student portal across 14,000 students over the life of the campaign (one month). It also created a statistically significant increase in student engagement via phone calls to advisors.


Bad Days Happen

  • Conceptualized, pitched, and wrote all copy for a targeted campaign around a segment of graduates who had become disengaged with the career services team. This campaign helped cut through the clutter and capture interest (hence the adorable dogs).

  • The purpose of the campaign was to encourage unengaged graduates to reconnect with UMA and keep going in their job search, despite their setbacks.

  • Campaign included email, direct mail, paid and organic social media, and display ads.


DISPLAY ADvertising

  • Conceptualized and produced copy for display ads and corresponding landing pages to help increase brand awareness, drive click-through rates, and test for the most effective messaging.


Video Scripts

WEB CONTENT

  • Worked with program directors, the creative and web teams, and various departments to rewrite program pages.

  • Focused on reorganizing the information in a fresh and thoughtful way that allowed potential students to immediately access information. Also focused on making the pages scannable and easily understandable.


Event Marketing

  • Created various branded event materials including direct-mail invitations, directional and information signage, flyers and posters, landing pages, programs, and more.


New Year’s Campaign

  • Brainstormed with the creative team and conceptualized a New Year’s campaign designed to tap into the overall theme of fresh starts and resolutions in the new year. The concept centered around making a choice in 2018, and led the viewer to understand that choosing education was a way to choose dreams, success, and themselves.

  • Wrote copy for display ads, paid and organic social media, video, and email to create a comprehensive marketing campaign.



AgAmerica Lending

  • Collaborated with The Fred Group's creative team to submit a successful proposal.

  • Worked with client to create a clear voice and identity for AgAmerica's marketing.

  • Created content for AgAmerica's redesigned website.

  • Penned headlines and body copy for magazine advertisements across several industry-specific publications.

  • Worked with The Fred Group to create radio scripts at different lengths.

  • Provided supplemental copy for brochures and other marketing handouts.


Crispers

  • Worked with The Fred Group to brainstorm concepts for advertising initiatives that stayed true to the Crispers voice and brand.

  • Created copy for a myriad of marketing materials, from in-store signage to seasonal menu items to online and social media advertisements.

  • Collaborated closely with graphic designers to ensure full realization of concepts.

  • Proofread all finished designs, including several variations of Crispers' full menu (for print, online and in-store).


Pro Tools Innovation Awards

  • Provided content for Pro Tools' campaign to encourage tool builders to enter into the Pro Tools Reviews annual awards contest. This campaign included direct mailing, email marketing, and social media awareness.

  • Worked with The Fred Group's creative team to conceptualize the campaign and stick to Pro Tools' brand voice.

  • Wrote a Winner's Guide to be mailed out to the winners of the contest, instructing them on how to best leverage their win (and thus become brand ambassadors for Pro Tools).

Free Expressions Seminars and Literary Services

  • Provided copy for a series of campaigns through direct-mail, email and physical flyers, which FESLS sent out with the goal to increase the number of registered students in seminars and to increase the number of editing clients.

  • Included the code SMFLYER in one specific campaign, which included flyers that offered potential students $50 off the original price. Through this, we saw a tangible 10% increase in registration and were able to track the results through measuring code use.

  • Helped orchestrate a monthly direct-mail campaign, which was sent to all current and past FESLS clients. These mailers provided inspiring quotes and tips to writers, while reminding them of book editing services and educational workshops.

  • Hired and worked directly with the graphic designer to plan the look and feel of all advertising material.


Palace Pizza

  • Provided copy for print advertisements in magazines and newspapers.

  • Proofread the entirety of the new menu, which was designed by The Fred Group designers.
